Intermediate District 287 is looking for LPNs or RNs for an opening for a School Health Care Specialist at the Career & Tech Center in Eden Prairie, MN!

 

Intermediate District 287 is a west metro district for learners with unique needs. As an intermediate district, we provide specialized services, primarily setting IV special education, to students from 12 member districts in the west metro.

• We are a trauma-informed district. We take into account past trauma and the resulting coping mechanisms when attempting to understand behaviors and best serve our students.
• There is a variety of support services in each school including School Social Workers, Psychologists, Counselors, Behavior Intervention Specialists and Student Safety Coaches. All of whom are student-centered and focused on building relationships with each child.

Position Details:

• Monday - Friday, 6 hours per day (No evenings or weekends and holidays off!)
• Assess and evaluate the health status and needs of students
• Provide nurse care to students in their educational setting

 

Salary & Benefits:

• Competitive Rate:  $27.33 - $32.69 per hour
  
• $1000 annual stipend for having a Minnesota RN Certification
  
• RN License may be eligible for $3000 signing bonus!!

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Completion or requirements and graduation from an approved or accredited Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) program
• Current certification as an LPN/RN as well as First Aid and CPR
