This position will assist in cleaning and maintaining facilities at Intermediate District 287. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a District 287 high school to apply for this position.

 

Position is available at West Education Center (WEC).

 

Education/Certification: 

• Currently enrolled in a District 287 high school.
• No experience required. Students must be at least 16 years of age.
• Demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate with district employees

Physical Requirement:

• Adequate physical strength, stamina, physical agility, and visual and auditory acuity and must maintain such physical fitness as to be able to perform the duties of the class. A pre-employment physical examination is required. 
• Incumbents in this class may be required to lift moderate to heavy weights and may be exposed to significant levels of dust, heat, noise, extreme weather conditions, and risk of injury from equipment and assaultive and/or abusive students.

Position Pay & Hours:

• Pay Grade: $11.41 per hour
• Part-time (up to 10 hours/week)
• One semester
